Your Context, Our Work Together

It may be that you're aware of a particular thing which you feel is holding you back in some way, and that you want to change. Or you may have a clear intention to achieve a particular aim; maybe to get to the next level at work, or to make the impact you want to as an effective leader without burning out or messing up.

Or perhaps there is or has been a pain point, an "ouch" moment in your life, something like a redundancy or a bump in your career which still hurts, or a job which you thought was ideal but which in practice is slowly seeping the joy out of you. Maybe relationships or office politics are fraught, or the balance between your work and the rest of your life is getting to you. You may be seeing the problems but not the solutions (or be scared by the only solutions you see). Or you may be at a cross-roads and want some space to untangle what's going on and work out the best way forward for you, whether that's in your life or your career.

Or perhaps you are here because you care about your organisation and the people working in it, and you are looking for ways to support wellbeing and development in your organisation. In that case you might want to read the rest of this then head over to my page on services for organisations.

You are in the driving seat: we'll work with the topics you want to focus on, whether they are life, career, or work related. We will focus on what you want to have happen, its importance to you, and the practical steps you can take to make it a reality. It can be tricky to find space and time to really think in the day to day, and when we get to think we don't necessarily have all the answers by ourselves. Yet it can be hard to find someone who is willing and able to listen to us deeply and attentively without any agenda of their own.

Working together will give you that essential: space and time dedicated entirely to you, an approachable empathic person whose only agenda is to support you, and who has the curiosity and skills to listen to you deeply and attentively, offer you new perspectives, and ask you the right questions at the right time to unlock your potential and support you to thrive. All of that in an approachable emotionally intelligent and non-judgmental environment, where you can say anything without being judged, and where you will be supported to tackle any obstacles and take the steps which serve you to show up as you want and make the things which are important to you happen.

I've given some examples on the following pages around the types of topic people come to me with, in order to inform your thinking - but they are not rigid, and neither am I. Sometimes expectations, perfectionism, values, relationships, workplace culture, self-belief, confidence, self-sabotage, people pleasing, internal gremlins, fear of failure, and other universally human things rear their heads. If they emerge also as areas for you, then a) you are a human and b) my training means we can deal with them too so they don't hold you back. If we find a conversation about a topic brings up other things that would be very human; we can adapt to flex as you wish whilst staying true to your overall aims.

We are all more than the sum of our parts. Our internal values, beliefs and experiences shape how we show up in all aspects of our being, as do the systems and cultures we operate within in society, work and our home lives. Seeing you as a whole person, I'll work with your humanity whatever the context. After all, we are human beings, not human doings!
